There are many methods of treatment for the surface treatment of metallic materials, and the processing techniques used include chemical, physical, electrical processing, and the like. The general metal keyboard surface treatment methods cover the following three methods.
1. Mechanical method
The so-called mechanical plating is to place the workpiece in the drum, then add the stainless steel particles, the collision medium and the right amount of water to make the liquid material, and then the drum rotates at high speed, and on the panel of the metal keyboard under the interaction of various materials. A zinc coating is formed so that it has a smooth surface.
2, plating method
The electroplating method is to place the workpiece in an electric solution, and to cause a redox reaction by passing an electric current, and then the metal in the electric solution adheres to the surface of the workpiece. The metal on the surface contains alloys such as copper, zinc, nickel, etc., but the method of electroplating has a certain influence on the strength of the metal panel. The reason is that hydrogen embrittlement is generated in the electroplating method.
3, Dacromet way
The Dacromet method uses a zinc-chromium film (also known as Dacromet) and then sprays it on the workpiece. The next step is to place the workpiece in a heating oven for baking. It is usually maintained at about 300. The temperature is maintained for 60 minutes so that Dacromet is formed on the surface of the workpiece. In the future use, the process of slowly corroding the metal keyboard surface first corrodes the salt substance in Dacromet, and does not corrode the metal keyboard substrate itself.
The above is the surface treatment of three common metal keyboards. The Dacromet method is ranked best according to the work intensity, and the plating method is second, but it also has a very long service life.
