There are two major types of metal keyboards, one is 123 on the top and the other is 789 on the top. Both of these methods are used on ATM metal keyboards, and should be used with great care. The reasons for this phenomenon are described below.
1. Industry regulations
123 was first used in the early telephony industry in the most upstream mode, and was gradually adopted and even set as the standard in the communications industry. The digital arrangement in the mobile phone is also referred to this way.
The 787 is in the most up-and-down way, and IBM has designed the keyboard area in the pc keyboard, which is later included in all computer keyboards, including the current emerging metal PC keyboard.
2, design concept
123 in the most up-to-date way is first applied to the phone, one is in line with people’s reading habits, the two are easy to input, and have been used until now.
The 789 at the very top of the way was initially run on a calculator, which was designed to accommodate a large number of fast digital inputs. The rear metal keyboard and pc keyboard also use this keyboard arrangement.
